Custom Hoist Hire was established in 2011 by Dean Bradbury. Initially running alongside Dean’s other business, Custom Wiring, the two independent companies still share the same values and impeccable work ethic. Having been in hoist hiring business for more than a decade and in the crane industry as a qualified electrician for 25 years, Dean has an enormous wealth of experience in hoists and cranes, and load testing. Not only has worked building maintenance units, Dean is highly experienced in the certification, servicing and maintenance of electric hoists and cranes.

Dean’s lofty career began with his apprenticeship at Pacific Steel before he moved out to sea where he was working as electrician maintaining gantry cranes on container ships and Island traders. From there, he moved on to work with some of Auckland’s best-known crane companies, making invaluable connections. 

When not keeping a close check on all his hoists and cranes, Dean can probably be found in his garage keeping a loving eye on his collection of British bikes and Holdens, although he drives a Chevy pick-up for work.

Lisa is the hard-working better half behind the business. In charge of all the accounts and administrative work, Lisa keeps everything on track.
